Drawing Theory

Welcome to Discovering Theory, a course blog for Social Theory Seminar at Siena College.  Here we share our attempts to make sense of social theory visually and otherwise.  Our goal for the semester is to master the critical reading of social theory.  One main method we will use it visual translation of theories as a means to more fully wrestle with the close readings of dense texts.  We are in part inspired by RSA: Animate and by the work of the Beehive Collective.
